Back on topic, my PADI training never stressed the importance of checking CO. I finally started looking into it when I got my PSAI cave manual and started seeing my peers checking. Then, after starting to read this thread, I went ahead and ordered an analyzer. Glad I learned before I died. Thanks all for making a fuss! I'll be testing every time.
