Default North Florida - Lil River & Peacock Springs

Water is up at Little River.. tanic down to 20' (and chilly). Vis inside good. Still springing but the river was still rising.

    Peacock is beautiful!

Bonnet never looked better (from the surface)

    Thanks TJ!

It's 9 days until I leave for cave country, and my brain is already on vacation! Now that I've seen those pictures, what do you suppose the chances are that I'm going to be able to accomplish anything productive the rest of the day?

The rest of the day? What about all of next week?

Well, if I don't look at cave pictures, stay off CDF, don't look at Underwater Speleology, the NACD Journal, or the NSS News, and don't think about cave diving, I might get a few things done. Yeah, right!

Fortunately my job is mostly things that have to be done when they need to be done, right now, and can't be put off! So it doesn't require any significant amount of self-discipline to do them.

It's the stuff that requires the application of the seat of the pants to the seat of the chair in front of the computer - the case reviews, quality improvement, writing lesson plans, continuing education classes, and etc. that are less time-sensitive and more subject to procrastination that may suffer between now and the time I get back from Florida.

You'll hit warm clear water at 13 feet deep in Little River, but run a line from the steps... the water in the basin is dark (and chilly) today.

The basin was really dark on Monday afternoon, a scooter team in front of us spent a better part of 5 minutes trying to find the tree even though a team in front of them had already run a line from the steps. Vis in the basin was about 3-4'
