MY GOD, Aren't we in an enlightened age far enough that Crap like this does not get published anymore!! Texas Dive of Death!!!!! Have we made no effort what so ever in the state of Texas to show that cave diving can be a relative safe endeavor when done under the correct training. This is the kind of article you saw in 1970s, 1980s Florida about Peacock and Little River. It is very sad that what may be a great cave dive is going to be off limits to the properly trained. I can see the meeting now.... The chairmen holds up a printout of this headline and unequivocally states, "we have a responsibility to protect you from this Killer Cave" "Install THE Grate" effing morons...

www.dailymail.co.uk has a long history of overly sensational headlines that misrepresent the risk of the activities portrayed. Other recent examples include this and this I think their pretty much a tabloid and don't get a lot of readership in the US. On the plus side, they have purchased photo's from several of my friends.

The article is ridiculous. What's terrible for me is people thinking the photographer making the comments in the article was me.

    Fabulous photos, Carl. Congratulations!

Barbara, I had nothing to do with the photos, the comments, or the article. It is some much older guy with a similar name to mine; our last names are spelled differently. It was not me.

Wow. I figured the text wasn't yours, but I thought they used your shots. Weird. Nevermind!

all you have to do is to read Anna Edwards -by- lines & you will get the drift ! context of glory seeking feature writers not interested in truth but rather spectacular headlines to gather her editorial awards !
