    I stopped by Branford Spring on my way back south last weekend and was amazed at how much water there was covering everything. It was a couple feet away from the funny park benches along the water edge. The spring area and boardwalk itself was completely submerged.     next time by stop in the park and see if the telephone pole is still there between the spring and where the dive shop building used to be. Look up. 1990 or so should be about 8-10 feet up the pole.

    The pole was still there a couple of months ago. I like the one at the top of the pole, from the mid 40s. There used to be a picture in the dive shop of people docking boats to the roof of the dive shop.

    I did a drive by Peacock today . P1 had a nice boil and flow but basin water dark and tannic...couldn't see into it at all.

    note stairs on right +4' above water line from a week ago,
    depth over spring head @ 14'

    At LR again Sunday down another 2+ feet,
    first landing of on stairs had 4" of water and the
    spring was flowing about 20' clear circle over and still 10'+ of depth,
    cover water over opening, will try to add some pics in am
