I'll be over at Manatee this weekend. I'll post a conditions report.

Why not head over to JB, Twin, and Hole? As far as I know JB doesn't reverse and Twin and Hole aren't prone to it either.

We can not direct the wind, but we can adjust our sails.

Personally I would dive there consistently, Merritts Mill Pond provides an awesome cave diving experience. The travel distance/time is what hinders me from going there frequently. From Deland (home) to Manatee is 2.5 hours door to ranger gate. Driving to JB is close to a 5 hour drive one way. From High Springs/ Fort White area , Manatee is an hour away, JB is 2.5 hours.

For me it's an issue of distance and travel time. High Springs is on my way to and from work. JB adds an additional three hours to my eight hour commute.
