Who knows but it would be slow. Cave snorkel anyone.

We can not direct the wind, but we can adjust our sails.

Will: THAT was my exact thought!! I was like, "I don't want to waste my mains!! Would a snorkel be crazy?? How about a moving deco stop on the way back??"

Edd is willing to rent boats that can take 4-8 divers.

I think at least 99% of this is all a joke. The little POS boat I have is the type that you don't get real upset about when you bounce it off of rocks in the Flint River, there is not much to it.

That didn't work out so well last time we tried it, remember? Although I'm still trying to figure out why. I think maybe if has to do with mass and inertia?

But the snorkel gives you free gas. And you could just attach the rope to the D-ring on you crouch strap. That way the boat can just cruse by and drop you off.
Plus it makes the ride easier.

Hey maybe for fun you could design a reverse hydrofoil that would allow a diver to connect a tow rope. If the speed of the tow vessel was just right you could decompress on the ride back.

I'll draw up my idea on paper.
