Default Information on 70's cave fatality

I was at Sunday morning worship last week and the teacher was talking about scuba and told me that he had a cousin by the name of Rodney Tindall that died in a cave on Crystal River in the 70's, I believe it was Devils Canyon or the like. Tindall died along with 5 others.

I explained how during this time period there was not much education, training or appropriate equipment available and as a result many unwary divers perished.

Does anyone have any info on this incident? Thanks a lot.

Default 70's Fatality in Crystal River

Maybe you should call Bill at Bird's Underwater in Crystal River. He may know the story.

Human Evolution makes me wonder: from HomoErectus to HomeSapiens, from Dry Caves to Wet Caves. Nevertheless, from HomoErectus to HomeSapiens, from Org. Caves still to Org. Caves! DAMN ...

That's one I've never heard about. 6 divers died?

There were 4 divers that died at Ginnie Springs in the 1970's, which resulted in the cave system being grated off, which still is to this day.
