Maybe a few of us can bring tents and camp in the lot across from Bill's. Jody, Jason, anybody else up for this?
(Notice how I haven't run this by Lynn yet...)

Whoever said money can't buy love never bought a puppy.
I've got my spot booked for 9 days at convict. It doesn't sounds like a bad idea to move camp for the REACT weekend though...

I was sorta contemplating this, and bringing my little POS boat instead of the camper, but I haven't run this by Gina either, her idea of "roughing it" is the 5th wheel. Part of it, is there any use / need for the boat? It's not much of a boat, two people and dive gear is it's limit, maybe three without stages and scooters but that would be it. I assume if I come camping, it would be Sans wife.
I do have camping gear out of the wazoo, Iraq, Bosnia, Kuwait etc, sorta ruined "camping" for me though. Wx would of course play a part, if the forecast is cold and rainy, then no camping for me.
Current forecast isn't too bad, low of 50, but no rain

I asked last year about camping there and was told it would probably be OK, Russel or Jason will one of you call to confirm multiple tents are OK this year, I'm not nearly as well know there. I've got an old German Army Diesel gen set I can bring, just have to find the 220 to 110 transformers, it's actually pretty quiet and would provide light etc. power will probably be limited to the size of transformers I can find unless someone has any 220V "stuff", assuming it will still run, it hasn't for 15 or more years, but hey it is of German manufacture, Mercedes I think,so I bet it will.
OK... Linda says anyone can camp, no charge for the REACT weekend. Keep the noise down after 10 PM. There is no electricity, but there is a bathroom in the garage in front of the cars. Leave the dogs alone, as the can become aggressive after dark. If you have any questions, feel free to call Linda. Oh, and clean up after yourself.

OK, German gen set runs fine, actually started right up, Transformer to make US (110V) electricity not so good, I guess I shouldn't leave electrical components in an old leaky barn for ten years?. I just ordered two off of Fleabay, 1KW ea. Assuming they arrive in time, that should be plenty of power for lights, computers, cell phones, charging dive lights, scooter whatever else.
Jason, Russel, you guy's going to be there? Anybody else?
Generator is about as loud as one in a motorhome, I assume if I put my truck between it and the house it will be OK? I doubt it could be heard inside of the house.
