Look back over the past couple of months on this forum, I have seen several Hollis oxygen regs for sale. These are good regs and service can easily be obtained through Dive Gear Express.

I think you can get one from Edd for not a whole lot of money. I'm one of the guy's that believe you don't need a high buck reg for 100% O2 Deco. Big thing is knowing it's O2 clean, and without it coming that way out of the box I think you need to add the price of servicing and O2 cleaning to the price of any used Reg you buy.

you can buy a HOG brand new for a lot less than many used and it's o2 "certified" to 2400 psi out of the box.

So you're safe unless you get boosted oxygen. Then it's like your Michael Jackson in a Pepsi commercial.

    I kid

yeah that's good Richard...and that would be "you're" like Michael Jackson. so find a reg that is O2 clean and certified for boosted O2 that will actually state it. Then, Go complain about to the hundreds of regs that say they're good to 40% out of the box.
Yes, you kid. Say what you want about Michael but we share birthdays so get off his back.

Too funny. PS my comment wasn't HOG specific. I'm ridiculously paranoid about becoming a flaming ball of death. I drove the guy crazy that converted my regs about making sure everything was spotless.

You do realize you set yourself up for a joke about what other traits you two may share, but I took the high road.

Less of a fan of? Oxygen in general?
I've been tempted to transfill at home because I have an oxygen clean transfill whip I was going to pp blend with before I made my nitrox stick, but I just foresee me blowing up mu garage. I know its low risk but I like my garage. Hell at work all of my staff crank open our medical oxygen tanks like its a race. I dont know why oxygen outside of a medical setting weirds me out.
