Default Does your scooter need new batteries?

I have a friend who doesn't post on this site, just a lurker really. But anyway, he's been making some pretty amazing batteries with Delrin Bulkheads and 2000cycle LiFE batteries.

He's wondering if there is any interest in people needing these. Just recently he made a bunch of battery/bulkhead (it's a complete drop in, just plug it in and go) for some old Salvo Mojo's that are working pretty awesomely. But he can do it for just about any scooter.

Any interest? If so, I'll put you in contact with him. His stuff is working and looking awesome.

Send me your emails. I'll get you in touch with him.

The UV18 is easy. I haven't looked at the Mako, but I can get him dimensions/weight/ah and voltages this week probably.

SS UV26 then would be equally easy?

Hahaha, and the "PP" shows himself.

Yes, Chris could make a stupidly insane battery for a UV26.
Alright, I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures...

Ok, I can't figure out an easier way, so I'll upload the images to a page on my website, I guess you can look at them there. Let me know if there's an easier way.

hmm..those pics look interesting...what does "stupidly insane" mean to you? Who do I need to chat with about the specs, prices, etc.?

Well, this is still in its infancy. People are getting 40ah into UV18's. Considering a UV26 has about 26ah (if you are lucky) in a 95lb scooter, I was really looking forward to a UV18 for my personal use. As it turned out, I fell into a Minnus 1.5.

We haven't done the math, and I don't have a UV26 here to measure, but let me grab the length of the tube - minus the motor and I can figure out how much battery we can jam in there. I'm guessing more than 60ah.

Deco, you can email me at peter@ultimatecavediving.com
I'll answer whatever questions we can, but I need to get a UV26 and Mako in my hands to get amps and prices.

This post was just to see if there's any interest. I've gotten more than 2 dozen emails and pm's so I've pretty much figured out there is interest.
