(I have only used their AA's, and am CRAZY Happy with them)
Norm, these batteries are almost 4 times cheaper, but maha claims that their products last 1.3 times longer. Are you realy CRAZY about Maha (compare to so called "others")? Need your user's experience.
Look: http://www.batteryspace.com/index.as...PROD&ProdID=40
BTW they have nice AC/DC computerized charger for all types of batteries.
Ary,

Thanks for the info on other batts...

I must admit that my affinity for MAHA's is based only on personal experience, and is NOT emperical...In earlier versions of Norm, I have been active in RC electric Boats and Planes...during these periods, I did extensive testing of various NiCad, SLA, and alkaline types, testing for discharge life using dummy loads (w/w resistors) that replicated real-life current draws...sittin' in front of the tube with stopwatch, DVM, clipboard, etc...

I haven't done these Sci Projects with our batts and loads yet, but might just give it a whirl soon (translate Latin Quote in sig for Hint). Hence, my love of MAHA's has NOT been confirmed via Scientific Method.

In my cameras/flashes I'm getting 2-3 year service lives from them, and they are regularly ABUSED. I turned on Lake City Tom and Miami Matt to them, and AFAIK, they also are happy.

Never used them (the batts, not Matt & Tom) in b/u lights. Doubt I will. Coming from the Age of back-up Primary lights, the Protocol was to split lights between those powered with rechargable and those powered with alkaline. Duracells ARE $$$-ey, but they have GREAT shelf life, and in my entire Life, I have only seen ONE found DOA on opening. Can't say THAT about NiCad or NiMh...
