The new gate is up and sadly some a-hole dumped a load of crap on site before it was installed. There is truth to the fact you can't fix stupid!

I don't want to add to the big brother, hidden camera trend, but would one of those motion detector nature cameras perhaps work in places like this to help ID these people to press trespass and dumping charges?

Church sink has so many bums I don't think the police would have the resources to track them. I've seen anything from 50+ beer cans (empty) by the sink to needles, to tent city, to bums high on drugs talking to my buddy and I after the dive. This site is going to take more than a camera to clean up.

I think these cameras are placed out in the woods pretty often and go mostly unseen.
I'd guess the flash would give it away.

That's really sad people do that.

You would think if they are illegally dumping stuff.. why not go find an empty office/building and illegally dump it in their dumpster? Seems like a much better solution if I were in that situation.

    sad sad sad

    Nice work on the cleanup!

Cause you're more likely to get caught in the back of an office complex even if it seems empty
