Roaches will eat virtually anything, they'll probably be here long after humans have met their demise...

If you must store your equipment in the garage it may be a good idea to place it inside a critter resistant container. Rubbermaid makes the Action Packer in different sizes that will accomodate your every need. They double up as nifty transport cases too.

BTW, there are no roaches in my barn....the spiders take care of them...

    Dive safe,

    Celia

BTW, Blaberus giganteus distribution does not include North America, the Blaberus commonly found in Florida is Blaberus craniifer

I use one of those mesh dive bags for my critter resistant container, even inside. just leave the regs in to dry. After reading Angie's post a few months back? NO, I dont want that to happen.

This is great material, how come this isnt on Fear Factor? "Today were going to go cave diving." (pulls regulators and drysuit out of a box of cockroaches) "and this is your gear."

    Dave,
That was a nice picture (I do have a great imagination...) to think of next time...not!!

I think they can get through the mesh bag too.....hehehhehehehe

Never mind, like I said the spiders keep all other bugs out.

    Are you diving this weekend?

just another reason why living in an apartment and the only place I have to store my gear is in the corner of the living room isnt such a bad thing after all.

You just have to worry about having your regs taste like cat piss...
