    Default P3 and Orange Grove

Dove P3 to the Hendleys Castle jump and down to the bottom: up to the jump, about 50' viz, after the jump maybe 60'.

Orange Grove next to about 1600 feet was freakin' beautiful, probably 100 feet, give or take. Then some rebreather guys got in and that's another story.

Funny part is we were headed back to P1 but a tree laying across the road turned us back to OG. Glad that happened and goes to show the cave gods do watch out for us.

Go Pro Hero Black confirms the viz was amazing.

Thanks for the update. How did the sand slide at 850' look? Do you think it's still managable for back-mount?

I was with a RB diver on a Meg and I was in backmount with a stage. Never noticed anything that felt tight. Pinched off a bit, but nothing that made me worry I would bump or scrape...so, then I would say its fine for BM.

    Have fun!

Glad all went well and looking forward to getting back there. MCL is keeping me out of the water. Anyway, I have to ask about the RB divers...sounds interesting.

Just one of those things. But that doesn't mean it was a necessary thing. The three of them were just coming in as we were exiting. Had just tied in to the gold line. They let us pass, which was polite. We picked up our reel and before we could even begin our exit the viz turned to about 5 feet, give or take. Guess one of them was still learning some bouyancy skills.

I know it happens and I understand, but I work hard to make sure others enjoy the caves as much as I do...leave them how I found them. Its the $10 movie theory: I'm quiet and show up early so others can enjoy the experience without my fat butt crawling across them during the previews or the credits...or God Forbid, during the movie.

    Oh Well, pooh happens

Funny but how in the heck do you silt out OG at the entrance? Unless you talk about my very first class dive there...another funny story.
