Faber Lp85s $450obo

Faber Lp 85 exemption cylinders in great condition. Left and right Dive Rite valves. Born in 2007 with a 6/13 hydro and Vis. These tanks are built from a lighter steel then normal Faber Lp tanks and cannot be overfilled. Located at Cave Excursions in Live Oak, FL.

Hmm, didn't know anything about these tanks. And I sell a butt ton of fabers (metric butt ton, not imperial butt ton). Can you post a picture with some numbers in them? I'd like to contact blue steel about these.

I think its a FX100LF, 2640 psi only holding around 80 cubic feet, these are not lp85s.

I have seen these cylinders and they are indeed LP-85's that are DOT exempted (correct term?). These are not FX cylinders. I have never seen LP exempted cylinders however we did confirm with Dave the hydro guy that is what they are. They look new and have just been through hydro however Dave was very clear that they will not handle a cave fill due to their thinner walls and lower hydro pressure. He suggest a max hot fill of 3300 psi that cools to 3K.

I know Jager13, he is a stand up honest person. Unfortunately the individual that sold him the cylinders, from this board, was not honest about them. Since Jager13 has put them up for sale I am assuming that the person that sold them to him will not something out with Jager13 to make this right. That is unfortunate yet as Jager13 said is his post he wants anyone interested in these cylinders to understand that they can't put cave fills in these cylinders.

I dont doubt that Jager13 is a stand up guy, and will have no problem posting the numbers.. Unfortunately he thought he was buying LP85's(L85DVB) which these are not, so to keep that from happening again(to someone else) have him post the tank numbers so the same thing doesn't happen to someone else. There is nothing wrong with FX100LF's if thats what they are, they're lighter than an aluminum 80, for someone with a back problem they're great. You can't fill them to 3300 psi however. it might be better to post them on Scuba Board.

Again they are not FX cylinders, he will post the numbers. I was with Jager13 and Bobby last week and these are weird. Dave the hydro guy ran all of the numbers and they are an exempt cylinder. The guy he bought them from has changed his story several times and should be banned from the CDF.

DOT-E13488-2640. This is the DOT number for the tank. It also has TP-3960 on it but I do not know what that number is for.
