I've never been in this area and would like to come over to listen to the talks and dive.

    Thanks
The ones with easiest access are Canon Ball, and Roubidoux. The first 500' or so of Canon Ball is less than 60', then there is a pit going down to around 300'. You can to the top part on nitrox. Roubidoux decends more gradually, to around 200'. Here again, you can make a shorter dive on nitrox. Vis in both varies, but usually in the fall it is 30-50'. Temps in the middle 50s. Both can have flow, but it isn't usually too strong in the fall. If it rains hard, Roubidoux gets blown out easily, and the boil is muddy brown, and has white water. Canon Ball is much more reliable, and has been diveable for Midwest Workshops since they started several years ago. Both can be done Backmount.

In the past, we have done Roubidloux on Friday then Workshop Saturday following up with Cannonball on Sunday. There is also two Springs named Boiling Springs (both sidemount and on my list to try), and Mine Lamont (may have misspelled this one). I look forward to this each year.

I might drive up and bring the RB and mix. Paul Heinerth asked me about car pooling.

    A word of advice
Wait to book hotel rooms till about a week before the workshop. The systems are far apart and its best to know which will be diveable before booking.
