Didn't the Omegas free-flow like a SOB?
I've never had one freeflow. I use them for sidemount.

There are two models - or at least two versions of the Omega. The early one was a bit sensitive if not adjusted just so; the later one was an improved version. I had them when they first came out and one of the two tended to free flow a bit at depth (bubbled a little) and drove me crazy trying to adjust it out. The other one was fine. I never did try the "new generation" version, but the LDS said they fixed the free-flow issue. But if Sludge is diving them, that's good enough for me!

Yes, mine and pretty much all the ones I see on eBay are actually called "Omega II." I know that when I started working at Planet Ocean in 1995 the ones in the Oceanic catalog were called Omega II, so that means pretty much all the ones made in the past twenty or so years are the "improved" version.
