Since the BoD and as far as I know all the other positions are volunteer we are asking people to do a great work merely for the emotional value they get from doing a great work. That emotional benefit gets worn down pretty quickly when reputations or best efforts are attacked.

If we really want to promote aspects of the CDS then we need to act that promotion. Talking about it, especially when we are not members, doesn't really do a lot. While I respect the choice of someone to leave the organization because of differences of opinion, please consider rejoining to effect the change you want to see. Find like minded folk who will also work towards good efforts.

We all have opinions on lots of things. it is when we act on those opinions that things get done.
