Is the O2 for huffing in and out Dry for MATURE Divers??

    Default Buford Spring

Dove it on the 27th and due to the lack of rain, you might be able to get in with doubles without sinking past your knees (pick your path carefully). I used a single 120 and it seemed to be a good balance between enough gas and running out of gas walking in and out of there. I'm not sure it is even 200 yards through the swamp, seemed more like 50-100 yards. Couple of thoughts: the trudge through swamp is pretty well marked with orange paint on trees and pink survey tape, would not recommend deviating from the path, it would be real easy to miss the tram road on the way back out. Also would recommend getting a local weather report. If it has rained hard for a couple of days that last bit could be REALLY challenging.

I was one of the few stupid enough to try and do it in doubles. I also took my deco bottle. And let me just say that if you're in good enough shape, it's worth the trouble. It's not impossible to hump your doubles out there. Just don't try it if you have chronic back problems

I was watching the buford video and thinking "man i got to dive this" and then in my head i made the connection that "buford = swamp cave"
and then i was thinkin' "pffft i aint gettin' chased by no gator when wearing 200 pounds of equipment!"

I dove it twice with 104's on my back, and I soaked the nuts in the mud several times, but it was not that bad for me. The other two guys I took there were cursing the whole time. I thought it was fun.

    John:

You and I need to get together and dive BS.

Hopefully, our next dive at WW will be a lot better.

Yeah Frank, Joe Tegg and I talked Saturday at Peacock, and he said Wayne's World is a mess right now. Worse than ever.
