Kirby called me as well that morning.

Michael was one of my few cave diving buddies that I totally trusted to be on my team for big dives and one of the more unappreciated great underwater photographers. I'll miss him greatly.

I was lucky to have met Michael and go on a few cave dives with him. When I was in Florida at the end of April, we were planning to go on a dive but plans didn’t work out.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
