    Default garage pics

here are a few pics of my garage... nothing too fancy... a standard utility shelf for the tanks, some L-brackets and hang bar for the hanging gear. I store dry/wet suits and lights/batteries inside to minimize exposure to Florida heat. I have a couple of large utility hooks in the ceiling for hanging damp dry/wet suits to dry, then pack them up to go inside. Pretty much all gear gets hung one way or another to dry out, then it goes in the totes when ready to travel to the dive site.

Saw a few ideas I liked here, few nice racks (lol), etc.

Mine stuff is all hanging from a wood 2x4 frame with legs that I threw together one day, the pole is a piece of fence pole I found in the back yard that I cut just for it LOL
    It works...

The tanks used to all stand under the gear.

All dry stuff sat in the big black/yellow big tuff storage boxes that both homedepot/lowes carry. They make the perfect wet bin for throwing all your gear in your vehicle after a dive and not getting anything wet. Perfect size for large BCs and fins, and all other gear just drops in with it.

Currently I have everything hanging on the drying rack, and all non-hanging stuff is in "storage locker C" aka non-running SUV sitting in the driveway LOL.

I'm in the process of re-doing my entire garage (just started last weekend) and I think I may be using some of the ideas I saw for my new dive corner.

1/4 of my garage is all computers (my main business is computer repair), 1/4 car stuff/tools/engine stuff/compressor/toolbox, 1/4 my huge drum set and the other 1/4 holds my dive gear and mountain bikes.

Dude, are your feet wet? Do you see the pyramids? Because your garage is at LEAST 1/3 computers, 1/3 car stuff, 1/3 dive gear, and THEN the huge drum set! And yes, the math works and explains the bulging sides

I take my hat off to you guys for being so neat & clean. My garage is so stuffed with dive gear, compressor & bottles, lawn mower, etc., and stuff from rebuilding my wooden sailboat that my wife says we're foolish to even carry fire insurance on it, as she says there isn't enough oxygen in there to support combustion.

Rebreathers are something that we have to go to in order to dive the way we want to dive. They are not something we go to for any other reason.

If you took a picture of my garage, it could be mistaken for tornado damage

As for my stuff (2 SS Scooters, 4 sets of doubles, 3 sets of sidemount tanks, 6 stages, 2 40s, my wifes tanks, sidemount gear, backmount gear, blah, blah, blah) its all organized on a 6 foot long Metro dunnage rack w/6 shelves on it. I dry the drysuit before I roll it up and store it. The rest dries without lids on their tubs. Its all covered w/a tarp to guard it from UV light and any wayward dust/dirt.

I could snap a pic but it would betray my secrets.

Ton of stuff in a 6x2x7 area.
