    Default 2 x LP-104 tanks for sale

You know what these are. Big. Beefy. Hold lots of gas. On their first hydro, '02 tanks. My personal "big cave" tanks.

$225 each cash or PayPal, you either come and get them or pay shipping (it will be EXPENSIVE to ship as these are HEAVY!) No valves included.

Will also deliver to the Millpond on a mutually-agreed day.

Currently full of EANx, will have to be dumped (by bubble-blowing, of course) unless you wish to buy the bands and manifold as well (extra cost for those), in which case I will sell the whole shooting match as a set, ready-to-dive. If you want the bands and manifold, add $275 for a total of $725 to the above (Sea Elite 300 Bar manifold, OMS bands)

    Default Well

Nice price for 104s. I hope the owner likes them, I dig mine.

Out of morbid curiousity, why are you selling?

    Regards,

Lightening the count in my garage, mostly.

I have my HP100s, which are much lighter doubled up and with a stage give me the same range as the 104s, but with even more redundancy. Plus I have a LOT less drag with the 100s. I'm also toying with the idea of making the leap to the "dark side", and have been for months. If I do that, I won't have a need for the 104s.

I don't use the 104s at all in the ocean - too damn big and heavy for a boat. The 100s I DO use in the ocean, so for now, I'm keeping those, along with my passel of double 72s (which make great ocean tanks)

I've found that while the 104s are real nice, they're also real heavy - with my usual underwear in my TLS350 I'm STILL too heavy - with no belt and an aluminum plate. That kinda sucks, and I'm looking for a way to "fix that." I've concluded that I can't with the 104s - someone who dives with more insulation (either natural or artificial) than me would likely find the 104s the cat's ass - I just think they're too negative for the diving I do.

Basically, its time for them to leave.....
