The Deltran Battery Tender 24volt 3amp charger works well. You can pick them up for 70-80 dollars online at amazon or a local battery store. Weight is 66lbs with batteries. Plus 5 pounds for trim weights if you trim it out.

Has it ever had any motor work done? Any idea what RPM it is currently wound for? also how fast is it on 9? (FPM)

I'm not sure on motor winding but it pulled about 170' per minute on 7.
