    Completely understand.

It's not the years in your life that matter, but the life in your years.

    Gents,

Its really nice to hear vets say the things you do but I whole heartedly disagree...you have earned discounts across the board.

You people volunteer to get underpaid and overworked ............ and oh yea....get killed for people like me that take so much for granted.

What really offensive is that EVERYONE says "thank you for your service"...but how many are willing to back that up with action? Talk is cheap...nothing says thank you like effort, action or a check.

I'll be in High Springs by Wednesday and am going to speak with Ginnie about discounted season passes, I hope to be successful and will keep you informed.

I didn't serve in the military. I appreciate the hell out of those who do and did. When you ALLOW me the pleasure of doing something nice for you to thank you for your service, be it a discount, buying your lunch, carrying your tanks, etc....you do ME the favor. I walk away feeling like maybe I've contributed in some small way. I'm not saying you should demand special treatment, but when it's offered, please, for the sake of those of us who didn't serve, allow us the privilege.

And yes, thank you for your service!

Shirley you're not serious? No, I'm not, but do stop calling me Shirley.

Unfortunately,it was a bit of a different attitude back in the 70's...good to see it has changed.

    My thoughts exactly!
For my Canadian Servicemen/Women as well as the "umbrella" protection we also get from our American neighbors. I truly appreciate your service, all your humbleness, but PLEASE accept what I feel you are due.
