Damn, I thought it was cats that were reclassified as vegetables. I guess I will have to retrieve my traps.

    Kevin:

As a cave-diving, tech diving, CCR instructor interventional cardiologist, I would be happy to go over the specifics of your case with you as it applies to diving, etc. if you would like. In general as long as you have preserved heart muscle function and a normal stress test after recovering from the event, diving is reasonable. There are issues, however, with restenosis after stenting, etc that could be a consideration. Every case is different. I'd be happy to speak with you anytime. Email me at dgebersole@gmail.com or call my cell at 863-602-3410 if I can be of any help.

Speedy recovery Kevin, glad to see you've re-stocked up early on Crazy Chick nurses for this year's Talloween party. See ya when we get back from Costa Rica in April, hopefully you'll be diving again by then. -Ken & Ann

    Kevin,
Glad to hear that you have come through this OK. If you are up and around Dr. X and I should be in Marianna tomorrow and Sat. Take care and don't worry about changing your diet, you will adjust easier than you think.
