I on avg make at least 4 dives a month, about 80% being cave. There are times I do more. I know that I have done something like 75 dives in a yr.

What's an "average" diver?
I usually make at least two dives per week. Then when my buddies come from out of town, I might dive every day for a month or two. It's almost always cave diving. I did make an open water dive this year, but that was a training dive for my 13 year old daughter![]()
60 - 80 cave dives a year. Typically one weekend a month with a 9 day trip once a year.

All of you Florida people may bite me.
I have averaged just over sixty dives per year over the last sixteen years.

50-80 per year depending

Last year was over 150. This year is going to be lower. Probably around 100.
It's not the years in your life that matter, but the life in your years.
In the past year I put somewhere between 270 and 300 hours in the water all cave in Florida, this year I'll do at least that, but I live up north so its not so easy.
Its to easy to become spoiled by Florida......72 degree water, NO SALT, No 2 AM wake up calls with hours of driving and loading boats and all of the BS that comes with NE wreck diving.
I've done around a hundred a year for the past three years. I'd say the split around now is even between cave diving, salt water/pretty fish, and local mudhole.
I'd be interested to hear TracyN's answer on this one...
