I think that won't effect Ginnie much. It is caused by the Suwanee backing up the flow of the Santa Fe.

I may have to retract that, the Suwanee is so high where it meets the Santa Fe that now they are predicting a 4' rise in Ft White. It probably won't close Devil's Eye, but the visibility will be reduced. There have been times in the past when GSO has closed the road from the Ginnie to Devil's Eye. You could still walk, but it is a long hike in doubles. I have done it, but I was much younger then

Sometimes if hydrostatic pressure is low,and the river gets very high, then river water will permeate into the system where the cave is under the river

Remember, it's almost Spring. If the trees along the river wake up, grow some leaves and start drinking all that flood water, there will not be a major flood. Just my two cents from being on the river for too long to count....It's all about the timing...

And with cave systems syphoning, that sewage is getting pulled directly into the aquafer?
