That's just soo cool...I always had the theory that if you started the dive at 200 feet for 20 minutes and then dove 200 feet deep for 20 minutes it should all even out! No deco needed! The hat's perfect, you can do the flight and then the dive. My fantasy is reborn! Cindy![]()

All that remains is to test the auto-rotative descent mode; this is engaged when one discovers that the LP inflater hose was NOT connected...Originally Posted by Cindy

Could be that those of us who mainly dive wrecks don't see a need for one on a wreck.Originally Posted by Sludge

All I can say is it is a Cave Divers Forum, you may be happier on a Wreck Divers Forum. Is you intention to be here just to disrupt things or participate and help us learn while learning yourself? Wreck Divers and Cave divers are often the same people. I started out a wreck divers. Many members of this forum still do both. I would really like to see you post some information about how you dive so we can learn. Cindy Butler

Okay Cindy, while this is the"Cave Forum", the question asked on both boards was for a "wreck helmut". It is not my intention to teach you anything, as that is not what I am here for. The comment made about another forum questioning the poster's need for a "wreck" helmut, I felt was disingenuous in its' comments about the "other" forum. Hey, if anyone wants to wear a helmut at anytime, power to them. I don't care. The levels of animosity we generate hidden in our internet disguises needs to be toned down, even here. BTW, I am a relatively new diver, love wrecks, but much prefer caves. Which is why all my vacation time was spent back in forth from Ohio to NFL. Been in salt water and fresh water wrecks, prefer fresh due to preservation of the wreck. Have squeezed thru many wrecks, wood and steel, and have yet to see a compelling reason for a helmut inside one, even the ones big enough to take a scooter in. More likely needing good cutting instruments as entanglements abound, especially in newer ones.Originally Posted by Cindy

Oops! My apologies. Your right. I totally mis read the post. See you can teach us something! Now you know why my buddies say my middle name is Paranoid! I have learned to be wary on the web but no excuse for jumping to conclusions. Let me make it up to you on your next trip and take you someplace different to dive. Cindy![]()
