    Are typical diver cert requirements waived for the projects? Like can full cave divers without mix certs be support divers at Indian, for example.

    If they don't qualify to be in the water they can be surface support.

    So I found out the answer to this... in water support can be conducted by anyone with overhead experience(cavern on up), within your certification level as long as you are an ASA member.

    As this is an ASA project dive, you can dive to your certification level for support, even if you don't qualify for the typical Indian Springs recreational diving requirements.
