Indian afternoon cleanup on March 2, 2013

We will be holding an afternoon cleanup for Indian Springs on March 2nd in conjunction with the national forest cleanup that morning. This day is a great opportunity for folks to come out and show Wakulla County that divers do care. Lunch is being provided by Keep Wakulla County Beautiful for all who participate in the forest cleanup. At Indian we will be pressure washing buildings, prepping for paint and performing building and grounds maintenance.

Diving is a bloom in Wakulla County and it should be noted the ASA just received approval for exploration and survey of 13 sites on 795 acres of private land. Purpose of exploration is for consideration of opening the sites for public cave diving. I mention this because it will add to the inventory here in Wakulla County and make the diving here worth the drive.

the forest clean up starts at 8am and we will meet at the shop at 7am. We plan to do a little work at Indian after lunch so probably 2-5ish.

We'll be there if the Madison survey dive does not happen. It is likely not going to happen due to viz issues...but there is always hope...
