I'll third the recommendation for the Mica, and I can confirm that Eric will take you our there. Heather and I make the trip with him last summer. I don't have his contact info in front of me, but I can round it up if you need it.

Also, if you decide to to the Oriskany, I can point you toward operators here in Pensacola too.

Looks like Missouri and Arkansas might be a possibility, anyone on the forum I could talk to about cave diving there?

Yes. by all means, if you are diving cross-country next fall, you should stop and dive in Missouri. We dive Cannonball Cave near Greenville, Missouri, year round, but it's best in the summer when Lake Wappapello(where the cave is) is warm enough for comfortable deco. There is also Roubideux Cave at Waynesville ,Missouri, where you must leave your cave card with the EMS dispatcher's office. Both of these caves can be dove to whatever depth you are prepared for,and if you put up a post for buddies, there are several of us here on the forum that live near both locations. If it's Arkansas that you are wanting to dive , I suggest you contact slim or deepairmike for info.

Great advice has been given and this is by no means a discouragement but personal experience.
It is not impossible to plan both wreck and cave at the same time but the logistics, travel / expense can be a nightmare!
When I tried it was a mess!

I would caution you to simplify your plans with more flexibility and one dive goal.
Travel can take it out of a person and Deeper wreck with cave dives can be challenging enough environments on their own.
I have found that keeping travel easy allowing plenty of time, no rush.
Keeping destinations spread out enough to allow for breaks between dives.
Planning just free time to just wander dive or not.

It sounds strange but have had some incredible trips to cave country been all over, learned a lot about the local north FL scene.
The big "O" can be tough to get on depending on the weather and if you were wanting to do that contact the dive op and get their recommendation for dates and times.
They told us April was good for vis and traffic was down at that time on the wreck.
    JB is always good!
Other caves can blow out with weather depending on what rain happens in GA. etc.
Never lost days to storms but just switched gears went to Ginnie other caves that are on as easily affected by weather.

Hope this helps again just my thoughts.
