I am going to revive this thread and say it is great that the poll shows the level of volunteerism. I want to point out the the Madison Ecoday is coming up (http://www.cavediver.net/forum/showt...t-Madison-Blue) and your help is appreciated. The parks are very grateful for the assistance because they have the impossible job, which is provide a great experience on a shoe string budget. This hit home recently when a request was made to purchase a coffee pot and microwave for the staff to use, because the state won't provide this, and they have to pay for it out of the meager salaries. In my office I have both, and it is a no-brainer that this is present for staff use. Let's see if we can get a good turn out of the cave diving community for this event, and show good landowner relations.

    Kelly,
Did they get the coffee pot and microwave already? If not, I'll pick up a coffee pot and some starter supplies and take it them on 2/24.

Shirley you're not serious? No, I'm not, but do stop calling me Shirley.

Thanks Shirley...we told them to go get it all and the NFSA will pick up the tab. We are all happy to support the park staff who support us so well.

I like the drive guys. Keep up the good work. It will be nice to see those guys get something they can all benefit from.

Thanks for taking care of this! I still think I'll pick up a bag or two of coffee to drop by when I head out there periodically Those folks have always been so great to me!
