Manatee Distances?

Zinc and I dove Manatee yesterday, wondering distances of various areas / landmarks.

Sputnik?
Cave Warning Sign?
End of Gold?

We turned at an area where the line was wrapped around a large rock, the line continued in two directions. I would call it a Y, both lines extended down into smaller cracks. What distance from Friedmans was this point? Where do the lines go?

IIRC, Sputnik is at ~2500, the Sign is at ~3500, and I forget the other distances.

The well casing is about 5000' from the entrance, IIRC.

Way past the well casing, if the well casing is what people cell Sputnik. Holes in ceiling, pipe coming down, PVC object on floor.

Sounds like you are describing what some people call "The crack", and I think it's around 5000' from Friedman sink. Facing into the cave, the crack on the right hand side is the bigger one and the easiest way forward.

It does. But I would say the main tunnel is slightly smaller between that crack and the next big spring tunnel, which I think is about a 2,000' distance. A number of people know those distances better than I do, so hopefully they'll chime in at some point here.
Anyhow, it's still plenty big for using DPVs.
