    Default I think it's time.

Hi, my name is Greg, I got my full cave back in 2001 and then my first child in 2002. I tried to continue diving but, allowed parenthood to push diving to the back burner. My wife, who had never wanted to do any overhead, has told me that she wants to start cave diving.

I she will be doing a cavern course in the future and then we will determine if she wants to go further. i figure that i could use a refresher of sorts.

My question is; does anyone have contact info for NSS-CDS? I can't find my certification card.

That address will eventually bring you to this one, which is the card replacement.

You will need the instructor's name, and approximate year of the class.

Greg, don't you see what's happening? Full Cave in 2001, baby in 2002. Coincidence? I think not. Unfortunately for you, cave diving = pregnant wife. I'm a scientist, Greg. Trust me. Stay out of the caves, Greg! And if you and your wife both start cave diving... well, maybe you all can start your own football team.

If you get pregnant cave diving, the baby should be named "Abe" or "Sheck".

Maybe she would have considered Sheck's real first name: Irby.

Yeah, probably not. And besides that, my son might get upset if we change his name now.

Now, for my next question. In doing a check of my equipment. Assessing what is usable, needs servicing and what needs replacing. I pulled out my light, a dive rite 10w HID. I charged the battery and turned it on and it worked, quite well. For about 3-4 minutes. That isn't much of a burn time. I need a new battery, but where can I get one? Dive rite doesn't even list this light in their retired section. I can find voltage specs one the battery.
