    Does anyone have any information as to what was actually accomplished with the $25 million?

    Hey now! Don't try to use logic here. I am on an emotional rampage today and don't want to come down. LOL.

    Sorry. I think government is inherently incapable of actually solving this issue. I believe the solution is private property rights. Every land owner would have the right to some quantity of water out of the ground, per period of time. Don't have enough, buy the rights to someone else's water. Of course the allotment would have to be based on science... taking in to account what water your property sits atop of, historic and recent rainfall in appropriate areas, and whatever else actually effects the amount of water available.
