yah, i have a halcyon and the crotch strap does bunch up pretty bad
i can usually deal with it when im wearing a think wetsuit
what about padding your drysuit underwear, they say real cavers wear diapers

You could sew up something like a climbing harness where you have two leg loops that both come up to a common point at your waist belt in the front.

That would keep the pressure off the jewels.
