Morgan Springs Exploration

Are you trying to be funny? The river is up at least 20 feet at Morgan. I went by there just before the flood, and the viz in the sink was lousy. The landowner said that it had been that way for a long time. I asked at Cave Excursions, and they said nobody had logged in to go there in over a year. I highly suspect Billy's exploration in December was canceled.

For the first day of diving we got all the gear down the stairs and ready to start the setup dives, the basin was about 5 foot of viz. Getting in to the cave was a bit tricky as the viz at the entrance was so bad I couldn't even tell that my 35 watt HID light was on. I made it down to 130ft and the viz got worse, I couldn't see the glass on the outside of my mask. There was just no way I could scooter out 10,000 ft to the end of the line and try and push it. Unfortunately it is going to take some time for it to be good enough to push.
