The flow adds so much to the equation and to your workload that it can be overwhelming. I wonder if some dives in another system may affect your decision or not. Either way it shows you have a safe attitude which is what you need. We don't need zero to heros with no fear getting themselves killed.
I just wanted to highlight this. It's always better to back down when you're not feeling comfortable. "Old divers and bold divers" and all that jazz.

Well we dove at Peacock yesterday, we we at the Orange (Grove I think) side we did not make it into the cavern as we were having a few small issues with trim and there was already one team in there doing a dive and not knowing the actually make up of the cavern did not want to reduce vis for them or for us so we worked on them in the sink. When the other team returned they told us its a pretty rocky bottom up to the sign so next time we will know. Very cool though even the duck week makes for a very interesting view looking up from at depth.

I like orange grove. I have cavern yet, so I end up just working my way around the sink. That place is nice because you can see into the cavern a bit and there is a couple holes to look at. My cave buddy demonstrates how to tie in a reel, andpoints out other things I should take notice of there. there is small crack, I guess technically it would be called a bedding plane, that is above the cavern. it is very silty. She used it to show me how quickly a silly out can occur and how bad the vis can get in just a second. to specify, I shined a light on her while she ran a jump spool into the crack, I watched from the edge.
