Ok, well the first report did not go so well hahahahso lets try this again. First my posting this is to just share in my joy of something new, so if you have any issues please remember I am high on life (I don't hail from Washington or Colorado). Anyway, after finally pleasing our very patient and knowledgable instructor with our progress in the doubles training that was outside of our cavern class not one in the same though we did practice running lines and air sharing with doubles first to break the duldrums of just finning around the open water section out side the ballroom but to also get us task loaded so we could keep our trim and boyancy. We then began the fun, we got twisted and tortured, lights out share air, bump and run exit, run lines in the cavern and then out in and out till we got it right, then do it again to be sure. I loved it when (in open water) my wife purged her reg in my mouth as she jammed it in but I got her back on my turn of course no ton purpose.
Then our last dive of the day we got to go back into the cavern and just look around, well that is so amazing how the air pockets in the pockets of the rock shimmers like a disco ball, and swimming up to the grate and it blowing you back into one of the catfish that just look at you like whats this guys deal....
Anyhow it is amazing (may have said that already) and I understand why all of you that work so hard to keep land owner relations and the conditions of the water and lands in good order do work so hard. And I want to say thank you for all your hard work and hope that we my wife Didi and I can help to keep this available for years to come (probably will not have much money as is will be spent on training and gear but will have some blood, sweat and tears to offer).
Hope this is a bit better understood than my last post, just wanted to share this so if someone else is considering some cavern or intro training they know it is well worth it and it is much better to get the training and enjoy the cave over and over than to pass the training and maybe only see it once.
