Ask DAN?

You should contact DAN. It's not just where is the closest chamber, it's where is the closest chamber that will accept divers? There are lots of hyperbaric chambers around but the majority are used for elctive wound care. More importantly, they are STAFFED for elective wound care with no on-call staff to take care of divers or other emergencies. This is why DAN doesn't publish chamber locations.

Orlando is most likely, but call DAN first... A lot depends on time of day too. If you are going to get bent, do it in the morning...![]()

A great reason to get DAN if diving in cave country as that's a fair distance away
I called DAN and asked just out of curiosity... They would not tell me for several reasons. A couple reasons are 1) the chamber may be undergoing maintenance, 2) the staff may be off shift or on vacation, 3) the chamber may be in use for other hyperbaric oxygen treatments.
Always call DAN first. Even though there is a chamber in Tallahassee, You don't want to drive a couple hours with a bent diver just to find out the chamber is unavailable.
This thread reminded me to rejoin DAN after a long break.
