Just my opinion, but anything over about 40 ft., I'd rather use a reel as I can reel in line faster than I can wind it up.

I like about 40 or 50 ft on one. As long as I can get the double ender thru the hole, to me its good.

I don't plan on using that much as it's a bit of a pain to roll it all back up, but it also sucks to come up a few feet short.

20 ft. Most jumps in florida can be done with 10 feet or less. The smaller the spool the more I can fit in my pocket which means the more jumps I can do.
