    I thought a "mini-spool" was ten feet?

I'm not sure I'd ever use one with only 10'. I'd be pissed if I got 90% of the way there and ran out of line.

Just my opinion, but anything over about 40 ft., I'd rather use a reel as I can reel in line faster than I can wind it up.

What the heck is a sweet-spot?

(Seriously. I know what it is on a bat or a golf club. . .)

The best length, balancing size against capacity.

I like about 40 or 50 ft on one. As long as I can get the double ender thru the hole, to me its good.

I don't plan on using that much as it's a bit of a pain to roll it all back up, but it also sucks to come up a few feet short.

20 ft. Most jumps in florida can be done with 10 feet or less. The smaller the spool the more I can fit in my pocket which means the more jumps I can do.
