    :arrowblack John Daniel "Danny" Ogle

    Danny Ogle departed this life last Saturday,October 20, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with osteosarcoma, bone cancer. Danny was my open water instructor (SSI AOWI 14032), a long time friend (over 30 years), and the man whose stories drew me to cave diving. Danny loved to cave dive and his passion for diving was infectious. His favorite cave was Roubidoux springs in Missouri,but he also had much love for the Florida caves as well. Our heart goes out to Danny's wife and children as they struggle to cope with the loss of a good man.

    I am sorry to hear this. My condolences to you, and to Danny's family and Danny's friends.

    Let your eyes go to the Sun, your life to the wind.
    And by the meritorious acts that you have done,
    go to heaven, and then be reborn to the earth again.
    Or to the Waters, if you feel at home there.

    (Hindu Prayer)

    Do not go gentle into that good night.
    Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
    Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
