The spring is as stated earlier, owned by the state. The county maintains the park and unlocks the gate in the A.M. and locks it back in the P.M., near dark. I don't know the status on diving it at night, by waking from the gate to the water. I guess it's O.K. if no one is watching. The diveshop is vacant as stated but the restrooms are open and cleaned on some basis. It's up to the people using the facilities to keep them clean ( your mother dosn't work here )! Check the river guages, if above 8 ft. or so at Carryville, it will be muddy. This is not a probelm for those on this list. The cavern will be clear. Just get on the bottom and go down hill. You will end up in the bowl above the cavern. You can tie onto the tree across the bowl, in these conditions ( not a good idea when clear and full of O/W divers ). Go enjoy!
