how many lbs. of ballast do you have inside your battery compartment on the SS? I'm trying to get it perfectly neutral for salt water and have yet to succede... i'm going to try 4lbs on my next dive. I had some great luck nailing a few african pompano on the liveaboard I just got back from, but unfortunatly i only got three dives with my SS since most of the other dives were "working dives". Anyway, great to hear your stories, hopefully i'll have some more soon.

2lbs in my 18 body makes it JUST SLIGHTLY (a couple of ounces) positive at the surface, and dead-nuts neutral on the bottom.

As in "let go and it just hovers" neutral. Perfect.
