I was late getting in to France, and were were trying to get my gear squared away before nightfall. I think everyone was hungry and was helping to get things moving faster. I normally leave all my gear set up in my van, but it was all scattered in my suitcases. It also didn't help that I was using different size tanks than normal, and needed weights. Someone handed me the the clip for my bungees, and I suspect that was when the snap for the light was opened. The elastic on the harness held it in place for awhile. I can see the light in the pre-dive pictures, but not in the post-dive pictures.
Put a post up on the Facebook page of Centre de Plongee Souterraine.
I'm sure Harald will be glad to help and there are 550 members. I'm sure a few have been to Cabouy in the last few weeks.
Awesome place to stay too.
There are some very nice new surveys that have just been published on Plongeesout of Cabouy.

Hi,
I am Harald Franzen of the Centre de Plongée Souterraine. AMW doesn't need to translate into French, because I am originally Dutch, and am the owner of the Centre de Plongée Souterraine (the Cave Diving Centre) here in the Lot, France and I do a few words of English too
As of yet, I haven't had anybody of our guests bring me back a backup light. I will keep you posted if somebody finds one. Also, I will ask around with the locals here - I do French, too![]()
Cheers,
Harald

It was found. I sent you a message Forrest.
Hi Harald
The translation was for the plongee-souterraine website rather than you. I know your English is good.![]()
