    No, just an Edd button.

A like button would never be used on anybody else.

I know Edd and his crew wont post here... But...
Since we got lucky with Mat and Chris sharing their recovery report....

We may not ever see it, but I'll ask...

Diver that was rescued: When you are done recovering from the incident and have had time to kiss family and reflect on life.... Once you are in the right mental place..... We would all humbly ask for your firsthand account of your incident so we can learn from it and not repeat it. This could be your great contribution to the cave dive community.

    I recommend a new thread.

Agreed. If the diver is already a member of this forum I am sure they will see this. I hope the person in question does come here to give a first hand account. Although I would not blame them one but if they decide not to do that.

I'm hoping we can slowly change the culture of incident silence back to incident reporting and transparency... One incident at a time.

I can promise as a moderator that if the person does post the incident in their own words in the IRAP section we will make sure that any post which would be insulting or inflammatory in nature will be taken care of in a proper manner.

I can only hope that we get to a point of honest and full disclosure of incidents/accidents.

Wonderful. Is it possible to make a thread that replies will not be seen until moderator approval?

This is incredible. I saw a report yesterday that said the amount of divers that have rescued a live diver trapped in a cave can be counted on a single hand. I wonder if Edd counts double?

We have awards for safe dives: 100, 500 whatever. And I especially enjoy seeing instructors getting awards for completing 1 zillion cave dives......

Why no awards to divers that save divers?
And if not from the CDS or CA, why not from divers organizing among themselves.

It would be better to have an award for not having to save someone.
