A vegan diet is possible without sacrificing any health without supplements. It just takes more variety than most are willing/able to eat.

Is it clear? No? Well....let's go anyways.

Paleo for us. Great food, fewer chemicals, broad range of actual food. It, or some variant thereof, will be our life-style from now on.

I did paleo for about 6 months. I leaned out and felt much better. I had to take in rice at times for runs though. I was doing 10ks and half marathons at the time. Then I got home and my diet went to crap. Lol. I am in the process of going back to paleo and changing my lifestyle again.

It's not the years in your life that matter, but the life in your years.

Congratulations Leam! Now go caving up there, that will help your "program" more than anything else
Forrest, I'm scheduled to dive tomorrow with some local old timer cave divers. I will work on bouyancy and trim, and my assumption is that I'll be evaluated as a potential dive buddy for cave trips. While it makes me a bit nervous because I'm not nearly as good as I want to be, it's a good idea on their part. Seeing me dive outside of a cave will let them gain a comfort level on how far into the cave they would go with me. Even at my level I'd want to see someone dive before we went in. I don't mind diving with someone of less skill than me (if such a person exists), but I don't want to pull them past their limits and I don't want to put myself into having to rescue someone else when I'm at my limit. So tomorrow will be fun. It may open some doors for me. Woo-hoo!

I'm also hoping to lose enough weight and build enough strength to body mass so that dry caving, and perhaps eventually sump diving, opens up for me. When we were up north I stopped because of physical limitations. Hopefully those limits will get pushed back a bit over time.

Why would anyone wear short pants that are longer than you knees, and show the crack of your butt?

It is misnamed. You don't eat processed food and thus eliminate the chemicals and non-food in our modern American diets. While we've not been perfect, it has done us well so far. I look forward to being a lot healthier in the near term.
