WTB __ BP System or Wing

I have about 400 dives, but am new to DIR. I would like to begin by using a BP/Wing rig. Most of my diving is warm water, requiring air travel ...read, lighter weight gear.

Option 1 __ I only have an ABS BP and harness ...but no wing. From what I have been reading I would like an Eclipse, Oxycheq or Dive Rite in about the 30-32# range.

Option 2 __ A complete BP/Wing system. Let me know what you have and how much you want for it.

I have been VERY happy with the DR Venture cell (not wing, but sort of trapiziod shape) with ss BP and single 95 steelie (or AL80 when traveling south for SW). Only thing I would change is to go with a VERY short inflator hose to position it on top of my shoulder for auto-trim.

Other manufactorers make similar 30#-ish lift cells AFAIR...

While they aren't often seen, they are VERY popular among the Owners...even as I am considering a Trek wing, I doubt I would ever retire my Venture.

Maybe put up an eBay search for "DiveRite + Venture" ... and ck the other manufacturers for similar cells and search for those as well...

I would still like to hear from anyone who has a great buy in an Oxycheq 30#, Eclipse 30# or Pioneer 27# as well as a DR 30# Venture.

Also, good buys for an STA ...and aluminum BP?

Look back in the Gear exchange archives in the last 2 months I remember seeing a couple of pioneers for sale. At that time it did not appear too many people were looking for single configs so they may still be available. I would look but got to go do some "honey-dos" before I get shot...

Don't give up on eBay...I just scored a Trek for dusty JuJuBees...go ahead and set up searches up for ALL your wants...be patient, know that you NEED to get your purchase checked out by a Tech, and nab a bargain...

When I dive singles I dive a Halcyon SS BP with and OxyCheq 45# wing. I used to use a STA but have recently just moved to threading the cam bands through the wing and BP. I am 100% satisfied with the OxyCheq wing and would recommend it to anyone.
