    • I hate you and was cursing your fail for the first 10 min of the dive
    • In all my dives into the ear I've never seen such a crappy job
    • If you put your line ANYWHERE other than where you ran it that would be an improvement
    • You need to spend more time learning/practicing line running skills
    • Next time close your eyes and toss the reel in any direction and tie off there, it will be better than your initial choice
I hope that this was some sort of spoof on not what to do, or a new student being allowed to screw up for learning purposes. I thought about cutting the line into pieces and leaving a note filled with obscenities but decided against it.

Ginnie was only about a .3 out of 10 on the lord of the flies scale. No drunks, beer cans, nudity, death metal or rap. Only the occasional horns and rafters. Almost quiet and peaceful...yea, it was weird.
See Mods, I am not the bitterest person on the forum, mdax is! lol

I saw Ginnie that way once also, it was in the middle of May when I was finishing my Cave CCR class. The only people there near the run were 2 dive teams. It was scary, I figured the drunks were hiding behind the trees waiting to rob us as soon as we got in the water. I saw a white cargo "rape" van and was scared for a second, but then I realized it was just the WKPP, lol.

Line placement is not always easy but keep it out of others way and following the rules is not all that hard.
It takes some practice but was emphasized very clearly in my Cave class.
In fact if it was not placed correctly it was pulled free and we re ran it correctly.
I have bad days or reels that foul but I WANT to keep my line out of the middle and very clean away from others if possible.

When scootering, especially with stages, we use the ear to reduce wear on the cave. It's too tight in the eye for all that crap. I thought that was what most did in order to not bang up the cave as much as possible.

Welcome to the new cave divers.

Gotta lower the bar enough so that everyone can pass.
I'll notforget this...I was in Marianna at one of my favourite and a highly popular cave (in the name of staying with the current trend of keeping secrets, I will not name the cave ). As I was gearing up during my SI, a well (very) known instructor and I were chatting. He was finishing up a full cave course with a student and somehow it came up that my team had a reel in the cave. The instructor asked me if they could use our line instead of running their own. The instructor turned to the student and said, "well there ya go."

I was pretty good with a reel during my class but my instructor had me run it more times than I could count (and I can count with both fingers and toes on both hands and feet as well as my buddy's fingers and toes (if she's cute)).

Pfft, sit in on one of my classes. My students hate me by the end of class, but they're safe divers.

T.bix drives a "white cargo rape van". Are you sure it wasn't him? HAHA!

Considering where your fingers spend most of their time, I think I'll add another D-ring

Oh I see, that's where you draw the line, a childish joke I made. It's okay for them to say that I am condoning and going sneak diving (which is a blatant lie), but I make a joke about their group and I get warned that I am almost crossing the line. Got it.

Should I have put what really happened? That those 2 people on Gavins about ran into one of the guys in my class. After we made sure to get out of their way as much as possible. Ya, the joke was too much.

Jordon, unfortunately somehow you got yourself a short leash. Not sure whom you p'd off but now all eyes are on. I wouldn't recommend running for mayor until after the NACD is dismantled.
Frankly, I was surprised you got a warning there too. Sure, many of your posts come across as the ornery beast that you are (joking)....
