Camping on site is available in the field at Cave excursions, but the electicity is across the dirt road at the diveshop as is the shower and the semi truck noise at the weigh station sucks. Lafayette Blue SP, is less than 10 miles and is pretty nice to camp at.
It does not look like Sandy is going to have any impact on REACT except maybe make it a bit breezy. Those coming up I-95 and the Turnpike in south Florida drive carefully. The wind is going to be gusty. I am really looking forward to reconnecting to cave country.

Looks like I'm coming to this REACT thing, and I gave up a right seat ride in a B-25 coming from Valdosta to Albany for it, this REACT thing is worth it isn't it?
Ewwww. I'm not so sure I could have made the same decision.

I wasn't offered the ride until yesterday, about an hour after I had paid for the camping spot, told my kid we were going etc. Plus it's coming to the plant I work at, and I think I will get my flight then. It's a group that is re-building an XP-82 and we have build several parts for them, they are bringing the B-25 to show appreciation.
